Anterior crown preparation

 

  • Crown Selection

    Choose appropriate size of crown using mesio distal width

  • Inicisal Preparation

    Cut 1.5 to 2 mm inicisal edge

  • Supragingival Preparation

  • Subgingival Preparation

    Create chamfer margin 2mm subgingivally without ledge formation

  • Check Fit & preparation

    • Round off line angles
    • Crown should be passive fit
    • Clean crown with water and alcohol
    • Control Bleeding
    • Create a chamfer margin all around the tooth by reducing 0.5 – 1mm

  • Cementation

    • We recommend Glass Inomer cement.
    • Seat crown using light finger pressure
    • Remove Residual cement

 

Posterior crown preparation

 

  • Crown Selection

    Choose appropriate size of crown using mesio distal width

  • Occlusal Preparation

    • Reduce 1.5 to 2 mm
    • Keep Preparation flat

  • Supragingival Preparation

  • Subgingival Preparation

    Create chamfer margin extending 2mm subgingivally without ledge formation

  • Check Fit & preparation

    • Round off line angles
    • Crown should be passive fit
    • Clean crown with water and alcohol
    • Control Bleeding
    • Create a chamfer margin all around the tooth by reducing 0.5 – 1mm

  • Cementation
